Ulla Taylor

This work was created at the Joondalup Arts Festival in Western Australia 2004, using fine art pastel on brick.
It was created over two very hot days, the second of which reached a massive 47 degrees celcius!! ..very appropriate for desert birds!  The border of the picture was labeled with “Finch facts” for public information.
The birds alight on (very large) Kangaroo-Paw flowers.

Endangered birds are one of my favourite street art themes.  Enjoy..!
